warehouse, which serves as a working studio and exhibition space, is located in the Washington, DC area. The paintings
of both artists have been exhibited throughout the United States and Europe. Their work has been influenced by their
extensive travels to Japan, India and throughout Europe.
Pamela Zulli was trained as a stone sculptor at the University of Maryland and continued her marble studies in Italy for two years. During the 1980’s she became involved in the performance art movement and began integrating sound and public participation in her installations. After her stay in Italy, she lived in Paris and began the exploration of color on shaped canvases. The work of Frank Stella, Martin Puryear, Jennie Lee Holzer and the Washington Color School have been her primary influences. Her paintings have been exhibited throughout the United States and Europe. She has also been recognized for her set designs created for several theatre companies. |
